용인특례시의회, 제302회 임시회 개회

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시의회는 1일 제302회 임시회 개회식과 제1차 본회의를 열고 본격적인 의정 활동에 들어갔다.

유진선 의장은 개회사를 통해 이번 임시회가 제9대 의회의 의정 활동을 마무리하는 회기인 만큼 무거운 책임감으로 임해야 한다고 강조했다. 제9대 의회는 전반기 소통과 협치의 의회 및 후반기 지방자치 발전을 견인하는 책임 있는 의회라는 의정 방향 아래 비전 완성에 역량을 집중해 왔다.

유 의장은 지방의회법 제정 필요성을 제기하고 민생 중심 입법 활동을 통해 시민과의 약속을 지키기 위해 노력해 왔으며 동료 의원과 시민들의 신뢰 속에 의정 성과를 만들어 왔다고 밝혔다.

이번 임시회에서 다뤄질 추가경정예산안 심의와 관련하여 지역 주민의 고충이 사업에 충분히 반영됐는지 세심히 살펴봐야 한다고 당부했다. 또한 사업의 시급성과 적절성 및 필요성 등을 심도 있게 검토해 줄 것을 요청했다.

유 의장은 32명의 의원 모두 마지막까지 시민이 맡겨준 소임을 다하며 시와 시민의 든든한 조력자로 곁에 함께하겠다고 덧붙였다.
