유재수 안산시의원, ‘성인 문자해득교육 지원 조례 전부개정안’

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시의회 유재수 의원이 대표 발의한 안산시 성인 문자해득교육 지원에 관한 조례 전부개정조례안이 지난달 27일 제302회 임시회 문화복지위원회에서 원안 가결됐다.

이번 개정안은 상위 법령인 평생교육법에 부합하도록 관련 용어를 정비하고 단순한 문자 해득 중심 교육에서 나아가 실생활에 필요한 문해 역량을 강화하기 위해 발의됐다. 특히 기존 문자해득교육을 문해교육으로 조례 제명을 변경해 정책 범위를 확대하고 기초 문해교육뿐 아니라 인공지능과 디지털 기술 활용 교육 및 건강과 금융 등 생활 문해교육을 지원 사업에 새롭게 포함했다.

또한 문해교육 기관 및 단체의 안정적인 사업 운영을 위해 공공시설 이용 근거를 마련하고 안산교육지원청 등 관계기관과의 협력체계를 구축하도록 규정했다.

유재수 의원은 디지털 전환이 빠르게 진행되는 상황에서 어르신 등 정보 취약계층이 일상생활에서 소외되지 않도록 지원 범위를 확대했다고 밝혔다. 이어 지역 내에서 시민들이 사회 및 문화적으로 필요한 기초 생활 역량을 갖출 수 있는 문해교육 환경이 조성되기를 바란다고 덧붙였다.
