수원특례시의회, ‘의원 연구활동 지원 심의위원회’ 신규위원 위촉

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원특례시의회는 지난 2일 수원시의회 의원 연구활동 지원 심의위원회 위원 위촉식을 개최했다.

이번 위촉식은 최근 개정된 수원시의회 의원 연구활동 지원 조례에 따라 연구 활동의 객관성과 전문성을 한층 높이기 위해 추진됐다. 의회운영위원회의 추천을 받은 행정, 경영, 교육, 도시, 외교 등 5개 분야의 전문가 6명이 신규 위원으로 선임되어 향후 2년간 활동하게 된다.

새롭게 위촉된 위원들은 의원연구단체의 연구계획 승인과 연구활동비 적정성 심의 그리고 연구용역 결과보고서 평가 등의 직무를 수행하며 연구 활동의 내실을 기하는 역할을 맡는다. 의회는 전문가들의 참여를 통해 정책 연구의 질을 높이고 실효성 있는 대안을 마련하는 데 주력할 방침이다.
