여주시의회, 의정활동 전문성 강화를 위한 의원 역량강화 교육 실시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주시의회가 7월 8일부터 9일까지 2일간 의원 역량강화 교육을 실시했다.

이번 교육은 새롭게 출범한 제5대 여주시의회 의원들의 의정활동 전문성을 높이고 변화하는 지방의회 환경에 능동적으로 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.

의원 전원이 참석한 가운데 조례 제정, 예산·결산 심사, 행정사무감사 및 조사 등 실무에 필요한 주요 내용을 중심으로 진행됐다. 의원들은 지방의회의 기능에 대한 이해를 높이고 정책 발굴을 위한 역량을 강화했으며, 박두형 의장은 책임 있는 의정활동을 펼치겠다고 밝혔다. 여주시의회는 앞으로도 지속적인 교육과 연구활동을 통해 전문성을 높여갈 계획이다.
