여주시청소년상담복지센터, 외곽지역 학교 찾아가는 거리상담 진행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주시청소년상담복지센터가 지난 2일 상품초등학교 학생 및 교직원 60여 명을 대상으로 찾아가는 거리상담(아웃리치)을 진행했다.

이번 상담은 지리적 접근성이 낮은 외곽지역 청소년들에게 상담 기회를 확대하고 위기청소년을 조기에 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다.

점심시간을 활용해 진행된 행사에서 학생들은 색채심리검사인 '컬러로 보는 나', '단점을 강점으로 바꾸는 딱지치기' 등 체험형 프로그램에 참여했으며 청소년전화 1388 등 상담 기관을 안내받았다. 센터는 앞으로도 읍·면 지역 학교를 대상으로 찾아가는 거리상담을 지속할 계획이다.

이번 거리상담은 외부 상담 기관을 접하기 어려운 외곽지역 학교에 직접 방문함으로써 청소년들의 상담 접근성을 높이는 효과가 있다.

학생들이 체험형 활동을 통해 긍정적인 자기이해를 형성하도록 도울 뿐만 아니라, 지속적인 순회 상담을 통해 지역 내 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기청소년을 선제적으로 발굴하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
