용인특례시, ‘청소년지도위원연합회 연말총회’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 15일 ‘청소년지도위원연합회 연말총회’를 개최했다.

청소년지도위원은 매월 지역 곳곳에서 청소년의 음주나 흡연 행위 등을 지도하고 우범지대 순찰과 캠페인 등 다양한 활동을 한다.

올해 기준 처인구 212명, 기흥구 215명, 수지구 159명 등 총 586명의 청소년지도위원이 청소년을 유해환경으로부터 보호하기 위해 힘쓰고 있다.

이날 이 시장은 한 해 동안 지도 단속 활동 등 청소년 보호에 앞장선 청소년지도위원의 노고를 격려하고, 32명에게 시장 표창을 수여했다.

이와 함께 청소년 보호를 위해 노력한 위원 59명이 국회의원, 도의회 의장, 시의회 의장 표창을 받았다.
