[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 11일 도시철도 동백신봉선 신설과 용인선 연장(용인경전철 광교 연장)이 국토교통부 승인을 받아 제2차 경기도 도시철도망 구축계획에 최종 반영됐다며 그동안 정부 승인을 받기 위해 노력해 준 시 관계자들과 힘을 모아준 시민들에게 감사의 뜻을 전한다고 밝혔다.

동백신봉선은 수지구 신봉동에서 성복역(신분당선), 구성역(GTX-A·수인분당선), 동백역(경전철) 등 주요 환승지를 잇는 14.7㎞의 노선이다.

용인선 연장은 기흥역~흥덕~광교중앙역 등 6.8㎞ 구간을 연결하는 사업이다.
