경기도, 1인가구 누구나 이용하는 병원안심동행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부= 이현준기자] 경기도가 운영하는 ‘1인가구 병원안심동행’ 서비스 이용이 올해 1만여 건을 넘어서며 다양한 1인가구가 일상에서 폭넓게 이용하는 보편 공공서비스로 자리 잡고 있다.

10일 경기도에 따르면 1인가구 병원안심동행은 병원 예약부터 접수·수납, 진료 동행, 귀가까지 1인가구라면 누구나 필요할 때 이용할 수 있는 생활밀착형 지원 서비스다. 2023년 제정된 ‘경기도 1인가구의 기본 조례’에 따라 추진되고 있다.

요양보호사·사회복지사·간호조무사 등 전문 동행인이 병원 방문의 불편을 줄이고 진료 과정의 안내까지 지원한다.

올해 세부 실적은 ▲병원동행 4,928건 ▲유사서비스 연계 267건 ▲사전 상담 5,257건으로 나타났다. 상담은 병원 예약·준비 절차 등 사전 안내 기능으로 운영돼, 실제 동행 서비스를 안정적으로 지원하는 기반 역할을 하고 있다.
