여주도시공사, 3개 홈페이지 ‘웹접근성 품질인증’ 획득

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주도시공사(이하 ‘공사’)는 공사 대표 홈페이지(10년 연속)와 금은모래·이포보 캠핑장 홈페이지(4년 연속)가 30일 ‘웹 접근성(Web Accessibility) 품질인증’을 획득했다.

‘웹 접근성 품질인증’은 장애인과 고령자 등 모든 이용자가 불편 없이 홈페이지를 이용할 수 있도록 웹 접근성 표준지침을 충실히 이행한 우수 사이트에 부여되는 정부 공식 인증 제도이다.

공사는 이번 인증 심사 과정에서 고령 이용자의 가독성을 높이기 위해 글자체와 이미지 색상 대비를 개선하고, 시각장애인을 위해 모든 이미지에 대체 텍스트(설명글)를 꼼꼼히 입력하는 등 사용자 중심의 개선을 진행했다.

또한, 마우스 조작이 어려운 이용자도 불편 없이 홈페이지를 이용할 수 있도록 키보드만으로 모든 메뉴를 조작할 수 있는 기능을 구현하는 등 접근성과 편의성을 한층 강화했다.

그 결과, 대표 홈페이지를 비롯한 3개 홈페이지 모두 전문가 심사 종합준수율 100%(기준 95% 이상), 장애인 사용자 실사용 평가 100% 과업 성공률을 기록하며 인증을 획득했다.
