경기도 공직자 사칭 사기 주의보 발령, 5천만 원대 피해 발생

경기도에 따르면, 지난 10월 23일 경기도종자관리소 직원을 사칭한 인물이 A건설업체에 농수로 개선 건으로 접근하며 위조 명함을 보냈다. 이 사칭범은 농수로 개선 공사에 앞서 다른 급한 사안이 있다며 다른 업체의 자재를 대신 구매하고 대금을 송금해 줄 것을 요청했다.

A건설업체는 요청에 따라 5,750만 원을 송금했으나, 사칭범이 추가 대납을 요구하자 경기도종자관리소에 해당 직원의 근무 여부를 확인하는 과정에서 사칭임을 인지하고 경찰에 신고했다.
