광명시, 돌봄통합지원 법정 협의체 전환 '돌봄통합지원 체계' 구축

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시가 기존 ‘돌봄통합추진위원회’를 법정 협의체로 전환하며, 시민 누구나 돌봄의 권리를 보장받을 수 있는 제도적 기반을 다졌다.

시는 22일 시청 컨퍼런스룸에서 지난 10월 2일 공포한 ‘광명시 돌봄 통합지원에 관한 조례’에 따라 ‘광명시 통합지원협의체 위촉식 및 회의’를 열고, 기존 ‘돌봄통합추진위원회’를 법정 협의체로 전환했다.

이번 전환은 2026년 3월 시행 예정인 ‘돌봄통합지원법’에 선제적으로 대응하고, 의료요양돌봄주거 등 지역의 모든 돌봄 자원을 하나로 연결하는 ‘광명형 돌봄통합지원 체계’를 구축하기 위한 것이다.

한편, 광명시는 지난 6월 보건복지부의 ‘의료돌봄 통합지원 시범사업(기술지원형)’ 지자체로 선정된 이후 퇴원환자 연계 관리, 방문의료 서비스 신설, 지역 병의원한의원 중심의 1차 의료 협력망 구축, 맞춤형 복지식사주거 지원 통합연계 등 다양한 영역에서 성과를 쌓아왔다. 또한 지난 9월 300여 명을 대상으로 한 돌봄통합 역량강화 교육으로 현장 인력을 체계화하고, 지역 내 의료복지 네트워크를 강화하고 있다.
