이천시, ‘동행서포터즈’ 사업 성과보고회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시는 지난 14일 시청 1층 대회의실에서 SK하이닉스의 사회공헌 기탁금을 기반으로 추진한 ‘동행서포터즈’ 사업의 성과보고회를 개최했다.

이번 보고회에는 김경희 이천시장, 박명서 이천시의회의장 및 시의원, SK하이닉스 정상록 부사장(CR담당), 한영순 이천시지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장, 및 경기사회복지공동모금회 사무처장, 이천시지역사회보장협의체 위원 등 약 100명이 참석했다.

‘동행서포터즈’ 사업은 SK하이닉스가 지역사회복지 향상을 위해 기탁한 1억 원을 재원으로, 읍면동 지역사회보장협의체가 중심이 되어 복지 사각지대에 놓인 위기가구를 발굴하고, 긴급 생계비와 의료비, 주거비 등을 맞춤형으로 지원한 민관협력 사업이다.

이번 사업으로 총 36가구의 위기가구에 지원이 되었으며, 이 중 상당수는 기존 공적지원 대상에서 벗어나 있었던 복지 사각지대에 속한 가구였고, 각 읍면동 위원들의 적극적인 현장 발굴을 통해 신속한 위기 발굴과 지원을 끌어냈다.

또한, 이날 보고회에서는 각 읍면동 협의체의 우수사례 발표와 함께, 향후 지속 가능한 복지 모델 구축을 위한 정책 제안과 협약식도 이어졌다.
