이천시, ‘제7기 주민참여예산위원회’ 위촉식 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시는 지난 10일 보건소 3층 대회의실에서 ‘제7기 주민참여예산위원회’ 위촉식을 개최했다.

이번 위원회 위촉식에서는 공개모집과 읍면동 및 전문가 추천을 통해 신규 위원 23명과 연임 위원 22명 등 총 45명이 위촉됐다.

특히 청소년을 비롯한 다양한 연령층과 전문성을 갖춘 위원들로 구성되어, 지역 현안에 대한 폭넓은 시각과 실질적인 의견을 반영할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

위원회는 앞으로 2년간 주민 제안사업 심의 및 우선순위 결정 등 예산편성 과정에서 주민 의견을 반영하는 역할을 한다.

위촉식에 이어 진행된 주민참여 예산학교에서는 지방분권 전국 회의 대표이자 경기도 인재개발원 외래강사인 노민호 강사가 주민참여예산제의 개요와 위원회의 역할 등에 대해 교육을 진행했다. 이날 행사는 ▲위촉식 ▲예산학교 ▲위원장·부위원장 선정 ▲사전검토 회의 순으로 진행됐다.
