광명시, 2026~2028년 3개년 'AI 광명 추진 계획' 수립

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시는 인공지능(AI) 기술을 시정 전반에 도입하여 행정 혁신과 미래 경쟁력 확보를 추진한다.

시는 국민주권정부의 국정과제인 ‘AI 3대 강국 도약’에 발맞춰 2026년부터 2028년까지 3개년에 걸친 ‘AI 광명 추진 계획’을 10일 수립한다고 밝혔다.

이번 계획의 핵심은 급격히 발전하는 AI 기술을 행정에 적극 활용해 업무 효율화, 사회문제 해결, 시민 편의 증대 등 AI 행정혁신 기반을 구축하는 것이다.

구체적인 예시로, 재난·안전 분야에서는 혼잡도를 예측하는 인파관리 시스템으로 시민 안전을 높이고, 민원서비스에서는 AI 챗봇으로 시민 편의를 강화한다. 또한 공공입찰 관리 등 행정 업무의 자동화를 추진하여 효율성과 투명성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
