시흥시의회, 시각장애인 복지정책 강화 위한 조례 제정 간담회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시의회 윤석경 의원이 지난 8일 대야동에 위치한 경기도시각장애인연합회 시흥시지회에서 시각장애인 복지정책 강화를 위한 조례 제정 간담회를 개최했다.

이번 간담회는 시각장애인의 점자 사용 권리 증진과 삶의 질 향상을 목표로 한 '시흥시 점자문화 진흥에 관한 조례', 그리고 시각장애인의 사회활동 참여 확대 및 볼 권리 보장을 위한 '시흥시 시각장애인을 위한 현장영상해설 활성화 지원 조례'의 세부 내용을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

간담회에는 윤석경 의원을 비롯해 시흥시 시각장애인협회 회장, 시흥시 장애인복지과 관계자 등 총 10여 명이 참석했다.
