광명시, 기본사회 공모전 시상식·정책 실현 간담회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시가 시민이 직접 제안한 정책 아이디어를 시정에 반영하기 위한 실행 단계에 본격적으로 돌입했다.

지난 5일 시청에서 열린 '2025 광명시 기본사회 정책 아이디어 공모전' 시상식과 정책 실현 간담회에서는 수상자, 전문가, 실무 부서 관계자들이 모여 구체적인 실행 방안을 논의했다.

박승원 광명시장은 "시민의 상상과 제안이 단순히 아이디어에 머물지 않고 실질적인 정책으로 이어지는 것이 시민주권 도시의 힘"이라며, "시민이 그린 기본사회를 하나하나 현실로 만들어가겠다"고 밝혔다.

전국 최초로 '기본사회'를 주제로 한 이번 공모전에는 총 109건의 아이디어가 접수됐으며, 5차례의 심사를 거쳐 도서 캐시백, 청소년 이·미용권, 건강 실천 지원금, 시민 외식비 캐시백 등 7건의 생활 밀착형 과제가 선정됐다. 시는 이 제안들을 검토해 내년 본예산 반영이나 시범사업 추진 등 실행 여부를 결정할 예정이다.

광명시는 기본사회 정책의 안정성과 지속성을 확보하기 위해 기본사회 조례 제정, 전담 조직 개편, 민관 거버넌스 구축 등을 추진할 계획이다. 또한, 정책 인식 확산을 위해 11일에는 강남훈 기본사회 이사장을 초청해 전 직원 대상 강연을 열고, 13일에는 '우리가 만드는 기본사회'를 주제로 500인 원탁토론회를 개최할 예정이다.
