박승원 광명시장, 시민 퇴근시간 맞춰 현장소통 나서

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 박승원 광명시장이 시민들과 직접 소통하고 현장의 목소리를 듣기 위해 퇴근길에 나선다.

시는 오는 9월 15일부터 10월 13일까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 ‘2025년 찾아가는 시민과의 대화 - 퇴근길에 만나요!’를 개최한다고 4일 밝혔다.

기존의 주간 소통 프로그램으로는 참여가 어려웠던 직장인과 학생들도 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 퇴근 시간 이후 야외에서 행사를 마련한 것이다.

이번 행사는 지역별로 순차적으로 진행된다. 9월 15일 광명사거리역 쉼터(광명권), 9월 26일 철산상업지구 원형광장(철산·하안권), 9월 29일 무의공 만남의 광장(일직·학온권), 10월 13일 한내천 원형광장(소하권)에서 각각 오후 6시부터 8시까지 열린다.

박 시장은 "광명시민이라면 누구나 퇴근길에 가볍게 들러 자유롭게 목소리를 낼 수 있는 자리"라며, "작은 의견도 놓치지 않고 시정에 반영해 더 나은 광명을 만들도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.

지난해 같은 행사에는 500여 명의 시민이 참여해 보행환경 정비, 대중교통 개선 등 120건의 생활 민원과 정책 제안이 접수됐다. 이 중 약 73%에 해당하는 75건이 실제 시정에 반영되어 시민들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
