경과원, 판교 공공건물 안전점검 실시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도경제과학진흥원(이하 경과원)은 지난 21일 판교 글로벌R&D센터에서 ‘판교 공공건물 산업안전보건협의체’ 정기회의를 열고 산업재해 예방을 위한 협력 방안을 논의하며 현장 안전 점검을 진행했다.

이번 회의는 공공건물 내 안전관리 수준을 높이고 산재 예방 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련된 자리로, 최근 건설 현장에서 발생한 사망사고 등 안전관리 미흡 사례에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 마련됐다.

협의체에는 경과원을 비롯해 경기창조경제혁신센터, 스타트업캠퍼스, 글로벌R&D센터 등 판교 내 주요 공공건물 관리 주체와 편의시설·공용부 관리자, 승강기 관리업체 등이 함께 참여했다.

이날 회의에서는 경과원 안전관리실 주관으로 물질안전보건자료(MSDS) 이해, 밀폐공간 질식 재해 예방, 재해 재발 방지와 사고조사 방법 등 실무 중심 교육이 진행됐다.

이어진 현장 안전 점검에서는 위험 요인을 직접 확인하고 관리 실태를 점검했으며, 참여 기관들은 점검 결과를 공유하고 개선 방안을 모색했다.

경과원은 이번 협의체 활동을 바탕으로 판교 공공건물 내 산업안전 사각지대를 최소화하고, 공공건물 이용자와 근무자의 안전 확보를 위한 관리 체계를 한층 더 고도화할 계획이다.

또한 현장 점검과 교육을 병행해 사고 예방 효과를 높이고, 안전관리 우수 사례를 발굴해 도내 전역으로 확산할 계획이다.
