경기도경제과학진흥원, ‘2025년 인공지능(AI) 시·군 특강’ 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도와 경기도경제과학진흥원은 오는 11월까지 도내 9개 시·군을 순회하며 총 1,100명의 도민을 대상으로 ‘2025년 인공지능(AI) 시·군 특강’을 운영한다고 18일 밝혔다.

이번 특강은 ‘일상 속 AI, 경기도와 함께!’를 슬로건으로, 도민이 인공지능을 보다 쉽고 실생활에 적용할 수 있도록 돕는 생활 밀착형 교육 프로그램이다.

도민의 디지털 역량을 강화하고 AI 활용 문화를 확산하기 위해 추진된 시군 순회 AI 교육은 지역 간 정보 격차를 해소하고, 누구나 기술을 일상에 접목할 수 있도록 강연과 실습을 병행하는 방식으로 운영된다.

앞서 지난달 동두천과 화성에서 진행된 특강에는 364명의 도민이 참석해 높은 관심을 보였다.

경과원은 세부일정에 따라 오는 19일에는 용인시 수지도서관, 9월 9일 광명시 시민회관, 9월 16일 안산시 단원홀, 9월 27일 양주시 옥정호수도서관 예술극장에서 특강을 개최할 예정이다. 10월과 11월에는 고양·부천·이천에서 특강이 진행된다.

각 시·군에서는 AI 전문가 강연과 생성형 AI 도구 실습이 함께 진행돼 참가자들이 직접 기술을 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

1부 강연에는 최재붕 성균관대학교 교수, 최재용 디지털융합교육원 원장, 조용민 ㈜언바운드랩데브 대표 등 국내 AI 분야 전문가들이 참여해 AI 시대의 변화와 생존 전략을 주제로 강연을 펼친다. 2부에서는 생성형 AI 도구를 활용한 실습을 통해 도민들이 직접 콘텐츠를 제작하고 일상에 적용하는 방법을 공유한다.

특강 참여는 경기도민 누구나 가능하며, 해당 시·군 거주 여부와 관계없이 신청할 수 있다. 경과원은 오프라인 현장 운영과 함께 온라인 생중계도 병행해 시간과 장소 제약 없이 참여 기회를 넓혔다.

김현곤 경과원장은 “AI는 이미 일상 전반에 적용되는 필수 기술로 자리잡았다”며 “도민이 능동적으로 AI를 활용할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고, 누구나 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 지속 가능한 교육 생태계를 조성해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
