한국도자재단, 서울옥션과 ‘더 세라믹’ 기획경매 진행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 한국도자재단과 서울옥션이 14일부터 20일까지 서울옥션 누리집에서 신진 도예 작가들을 위한 기획 경매 ‘더 세라믹(The Ceramic)’을 진행한다.

참여 작가는 권혜인, 신원동, 양지운, 이송암, 이인화, 임재현, 정영유 등 총 7명이며, 총 35점의 출품작 경매를 진행한다.

경매와 함께 전시도 15일부터 20일까지 서울옥션 강남센터 지하 1층에서 열리며, 전시 개막일에는 권혜인, 신원동, 이인화 등 3인 작가와 함께 이야기 나눌 수 있는 ‘아티스트 토크’도 마련된다. 아티스트 토크는 온라인 신청자만 참석할 수 있으며, 출품작 사전 전시는 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있다.

앞서 재단과 서울옥션은 이번 경매를 위해 지난 13일 ‘도자예술 유통 활성화 및 작가 발굴’을 위한 업무협약을 체결한 바 있다.

주요 협약 내용은 ▲기획 경매 및 관련 전시 행사 추진 ▲신진·중진 작가 발굴 및 전시 기회 제공 ▲작품 홍보를 위한 도록 및 영상 제작 ▲작품 운송 및 보험 등 운영 전반에 대한 협력이다.

경매 종료 후 한국도자재단은 올해 하반기 여주 경기생활도자미술관에서 기획 전시를 개최한다. 이번 전시는 경매 참여 작가들의 주요 작품을 중심으로 도자예술의 현재와 새로운 흐름을 조망하는 자리가 될 예정이다.
