경기도 특사경, 안경원 등 ‘기타수질오염원’ 불법행위 수사

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도는 오는 8월 25일부터 9월 5일까지 도내 ‘기타수질오염원’을 대상으로불법행위 집중 수사를 실시한다.

이번 수사 대상은 렌즈 제작 시설을 갖춘 안경원, 자동차 정비·검사장(200㎡ 이상), 폐차장(1,500㎡ 이상) 등이다. 지난 2021년 1월 1일자 ‘물환경보전법’ 개정시행에 따라 이들 사업장은 수질오염물질 배출 사실을 관할 관청에 반드시 신고해야 한다. 하지만 실제로는 신고하지 않고 불법으로 운영하거나 배출 방지시설을 제대로 설치하지 않은 사례가 지속되고 있어 수사를 추진하게 됐다.
