여주도시공사, AI CCTV 무인주차시스템 시범 운영

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주도시공사는 오는 8월 18일부터 여주시 교육청 인근 노상주차장에 AI CCTV 스마트무인주차장을 시범운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 시범운영은 지난 7월 11일 체결된 ㈜KT, ㈜네오컨버전스와의 스마트주차시스템 구축을 위한 업무협약에 따른 것으로, 여주시 교육청 인근 노상주차장 16면을 대상으로 우선 적용되며, 또한 본격적인 시범운영에 앞서 8월 4일부터는 시스템 작동 여부를 확인하기 위한 사전 테스트 운영에 돌입했다.

공사 관계자는 “기존 노상주차장은 현장 징수 방식에 따라 다양한 문제가 발생해 왔으며, 시민과 관리자 모두에게 불편함을 주고 있었다. 여주도시공사는 이러한 문제를 해결하고, 운영 효율과 투명성을 높이기 위해 이번 시범운영을 추진하게 됐다”고 말했다.
