경기도, 수원에서 기회소득 예술인 페스티벌 기획전 ‘본업’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도와 경기문화재단은 예술인 기회소득 수혜자의 사회적 가치를 도민과 나누기 위해 8월 13일부터 9월 17일까지 수원 고색뉴지엄에서 2025 기회소득 예술인 기획전 ‘本業(본업) Art as a Vocation(예술은 소명이다)’을 개최한다.

이번 전시는 지난 7월 김포아트빌리지에서 열린 첫 전시에 이은 두 번째로, 예술을 본업으로 삼고 활동하고 있는 기회소득 예술인의 다양한 시선을 담는다. 수원 전시에는 회화, 설치, 뉴미디어 등 다양한 분야의 기회소득 예술인 23명이 참여한다.

‘가변하는 공간들’이라는 소주제에서 기존 폐수처리장을 리모델링한 전시공간의 공간적 특성을 반영해 ‘공간’과 ‘장소’를 작가 각자의 시각으로 해석한 작품 32점을 선보인다.

이번 전시에 이어 ▲11~12월 경기도미술관(안산) ▲11월~내년 2월 양평군립미술관(양평)에서 다른 주제들로 기회소득 예술인 기획전을 준비하고 있다.

곽선미 경기도 예술정책과장은 “김포에 이어 수원에서도 기회소득 예술인의 특별한 작품들과 함께 도민을 찾아뵙게 됐다. 예술인과 도민이 예술활동의 사회적 가치를 함께 느끼며, 작가들의 작품이 도민 여러분의 마음속에 시원한 한 줄기 바람이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 기회소득 예술인 페스티벌 기획전은 공모를 통해 선정된 기회소득 예술인 70인의 회화, 사진, 설치 등 시각예술 작품 총 140점을 선보이며, 예술을 소명으로 생각하는 이들의 다양한 예술적 시선을 소개한다.
