여주시, ‘노인일자리사업 신규아이템 공모전’ 보건복지부장관 기관표창 수상

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이현준기자] 여주시는 보건복지부에서 주최한 '2026년 신규 노인일자리 개발을 위한 아이템 공모전'에서 ‘교통약자 이동서비스 실버드라이버 사업단’의 주제로 공모전에 선정되어 보건복지부 장관 기관표창을 지난달 31일 수상했다.

이번 공모전은 어르신이 수행하기에 적합하고 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 신규 노인일자리 및 사회활동을 발굴하고자 개최됐다. 전국 총 395건의 주제가 공모전에 신청됐고 2차에 걸친 심의 끝에 최종 12건이 선정되었는데 여주시는 전국에서 유일하게 기초자치단체의 이름으로 수상했다.

여주시와 여주도시공사는 노인일자리사업과 교통약자이동서비스 ‘사랑을실車’ 사업의 협업·연계을 통해 현재 24시간 운영 중인 사업의 활성화와 운행실무자 근로환경 개선으로 여주시민들의 이동편의서비스가 한층 더 나아지길 기대하고 있다.
