시흥도시공사, 시흥시 공정무역 활성화를 위한 업무협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥도시공사는 지난 30일 시흥시 관내 공정무역 유관기관과 판매처가 참여하고 있는 ‘시흥공정무역협의회’와 함께 시흥시 공정무역 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 각 기관의 역량과 자원을 적극 활용하여 ▲시흥시 공정무역 활성화를 위한 지속적인 연대 및 협력 ▲시흥시 공정무역 교육, 캠페인 활동에 대한 상호협력 ▲시흥도시공사 공정무역 프로그램 개발 및 운영 협력 등에 관한 내용을 담고 있다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 상호 협력과 공동 발전을 기반으로, 시흥시 관내 공정무역 가치의 확산과 지속 가능한 활성화를 촉진하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
