안성시, 목원대학교와 지속가능관광 활성화 업무협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시는 7월 31일 청년문화공간 ‘청년톡톡’에서 목원대학교와 지속가능관광 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 지역 관광자원과 교육 자원을 연계하여 지역 내 체류인구를 확대하고, 현장 중심의 지속가능한 관광 콘텐츠를 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 관광을 매개로 지역에 머무르고, 소비하고, 관계를 맺는 생활인구 기반을 조성하는 데 협력할 예정이다.

협약의 주요 내용은 ▲ 목원대학교의 전공･교양･비교과 프로그램과 안성시의 생활인구 프로그램간 연계 ▲ 청년 일경험 및 진로탐색, 지역개발 프로젝트 등 청년활동 지원 ▲ 지속가능관광 기반 마련을 위한 상호 협력 사항 등이다.

특히 목원대학교가 중소벤처기업부 산하 소상공인시장진흥공단의 공모사업인 ‘로컬콘텐츠 중점대학’에 선정된 점과 연계하여, 안성지역을 기반으로 한 교육과정이 안성시의 정책과 연계될 예정이다.

안성시는 이번 협약을 계기로 지역 중심의 교육 및 청년 참여 프로그램을 확대하고, 지속가능한 관광자원 개발을 통해 지역의 관광 경쟁력과 생활 인구 확대에 긍정적인 효과를 기대하고 있다.
