경기도, 오산 외삼미1지구 사업 승인 고시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도는 30일 ‘오산 외삼미1지구 도시개발구역 지정 및 개발계획 수립’을 고시했다며,서동탄역 일대의 체계적인 개발로 주변 활성화가 기대된다고 밝혔다.

이번 도시개발사업은 오산시 외삼미동 일원 약 11만 6천㎡의 부지에 1,472세대의 공동주택과 주상복합건축물 등을 조성하는 사업으로 2029년까지 조성을 목표로 추진 중이다.해당 지역은 동탄신도시와인접해 개발 압력이 증대되고 있는 만큼 인덕원~동탄복선전철 개통시 서동탄역의 활성화를 고려해 주거, 상업, 자족시설, 교통 기반시설(인프라) 등이 조화롭게 어우러진 도시공간으로 탈바꿈할 예정이다. 특히 사업지 내 서동탄역으로 연결되는 대로(왕복4차선)를 신설하고 사업지 동측 북삼미로를 확장(도로폭 15m→28m)하여서동탄역으로 집중되는 교통여건이 크게 개선될 것으로 기대된다.
