평택시, 원주시와 자매결연 협약 체결

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시와 강원특별자치도 원주시가 16일, 원주시청에서 자매결연 협약을 체결하며 양 도시 간의 교류 협력체계를 구축하고 상생발전을 위해 상호 지원을 약속했다.

이번 협약식에는 정장선 평택시장과 강정구 평택시의회 의장, 원강수 원주시장, 조용기 원주시의회 의장을 비롯해 양 도시 민간대표단이 함께 자리해 실질적인 교류를 본격화하기 위해 상호 협력 의지를 다졌다.

이번 협약은 두 도시가 가진 산업적·지리적 특성과 지역 자원을 바탕으로, 상호 보완적이고 지속 가능한 협력 모델을 구축하기 위한 것으로, 반도체 소부장 기업 연계 교류, 지역 농특산물 연계 교류, 문화체육 분야 교류 등 다양한 분야의 교류 사업이 추진될 예정이다.
