이천시, 중대재해 예방 및 관리체계 점검

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=이천 이현준기자] 이천시는 지난 25일 ‘중대재해 관련 안전보건관리체계 구축 컨설팅 용역’ 중간 보고회를 이천시청 5층 다올실에서 개최했다.

이날 보고회에는 김경희 이천시장과 소속 현업사업장 관리감독자와 용역 수행업체 등 20여 명이 참석하여 중대재해 예방을 위한 안전보건관리체계의 개선 방향 등을 논의했다.

본 컨설팅 용역은 법무법인 대륙아주에서 수행하며, 지난 5월부터 이천시 산업안전보건법 및 중대재해처벌법에 따른 이행 수준을 진단하고, 실용성 있는 개선책을 제안하는 용역이다. 오는 8월까지 용역을 완료하고 최종보고회 및 관리자 대상 교육 등을 통해 현재 이천시의 안전보건관리체계를 보강하고 더욱 명확한 산업재해 및 중대시민재해 예방 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

또한 시는 해당 결과를 바탕으로 관련 규정과 작업 매뉴얼 등 일제히 개편할 계획이다.

김경희 이천시장은 “필수 점검뿐만 아니라 자체적인 위험 요소 개선 등을 통해 시민과 근로자의 안전이 현장에서 실현될 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
