[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시와 수원환경교육네트워크·수원교육지원청·삼성전자·경기대학교가 지속가능한 환경교육 인프라를 구축하고, 지역 환경교육을 활성화하기 위해 협력하기로 했다.

5개 기관은 11일 시청 상황실에서 ‘민·관·산·학 환경교육 협력 협약’을 체결하고, 협력을 약속했다.

협약에 따라 수원시는 지역 환경교육 활성화를 위한 정책을 수립하고, 행정적 지원을 한다. 또 협약 기관 간 협력체계를 구축해 운영한다.

수원환경교육네트워크는 지역 특성을 반영한 환경교육 프로그램을 기획·운영하고, 수원교육지원청은 학교 환경교육 운영, 교사 연수 지원, 교육기관 간 협업체계 구축 등 역할을 한다.

삼성전자는 수원시 대학생을 대상으로 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 교육 콘텐츠와 환경시설 견학을 지원하고, 경기대학교는 친환경 청년 문화 확산을 위한 협력사업을 지원한다.

이날 협약식에는 이재준 수원시장과 홍은화 수원환경교육네트워크 대표, 김선경 수원교육지원청 교육장, 조영준 삼성전자 수원지원센터장, 이윤규 경기대학교 총장 등이 참석했다.
