[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안성 이현준기자] 안성시는 지난 10일 경기도의료원 안성병원과 ‘아동학대 전담의료기관 협약식’을 체결하고, 학대피해아동에 대한 신속하고 전문적인 진료체계를 구축하기로 했다고 밝혔다.

협약식에는 김보라 안성시장과 장영록 안성병원장, 행정과장, 공공의료사업과장이 참여한 가운데 진행됐다. 이번 업무협약을 통해 양 기관은 학대피해(의심)아동에 대한 신속하고 전문적인 진료 및 치료가 이루어질 수 있도록 상호 협력하기로 했다.

2018년 3월 19일 신축 이전한 경기도의료원 안성병원은 질 높은 의료서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선의 노력을 다하고 있는 공공의료기관으로 응급의학과와 소아청소년과 등 15개 진료과를 운영하고 있으며, 응급실은 365일, 24시간 진료가 가능하여 안성지역에서 학대피해아동이 발생했을 경우 신속한 치료가 가능한 곳이다.

또한 학대피해아동의 의료비를 지원하고 친권자 비동행시에도 우선적인 진료와 진단을 제공하여 지역 내에서 안전하고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 공동으로 노력하기로 했다.
