[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 세계여성평화그룹(IWPG) 수원지부가 지난 1일 수원 제1야외음악당에서 제7회 ‘평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회’ 예선을 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 예선은 글로벌 1국 산하 서울·수원·평택 3개 지역에서 동시에 진행된 예선 중 하나로 강남·수원·용인·동탄지부가 공동 주관했다.

‘평화 실현을 위해 내가/우리가 할 수 있는 일’을 주제로 열린 이번 행사에는 어린이·청소년 380여명이 참가해, 그림을 통해 평화의 가치를 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.

‘평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회’는 올해로 7회째를 맞았으며, 전 세계 어린이들의 시선을 통해 평화의 가치를 공유하는 장으로 자리매김하고 있다. 글로벌 1국 대한민국 예선대회 수상자는 오는 7월 26일 시상식에서 발표될 예정이다. 이후 최종 본선 진출작은 국제 심사를 거쳐 오는 10월 본선 시상식이 열린다.
