광명시, 찾아가는 주민참여예산 본격 추진

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시가 더 많은 시민 의견을 예산에 반영하기 위해 ‘찾아가는 예산학교’와 ‘현장 사업 접수 활동’을 시작한다.

‘찾아가는 주민참여예산’은 주민참여예산위원이 직접 지역 단체나 모임을 방문해 제도를 알리고 사업 제안을 받는 현장 중심 프로그램이다. 예산 편성 과정에 시민 참여를 확대하고, 참여 장벽을 낮추기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

올해 활동에는 시민강사단 양성 과정과 프레젠테이션 기법 등 심화 교육을 이수한 위원들이 참여해, 보다 전문적이고 체계적인 설명이 가능하다.

위원들은 시민 눈높이에 맞춘 설명과 일상 속 불편과 지역 현안을 구체적인 사업 제안으로 이끄는 역할도 맡는다.
