시는 지난 20일 오후 철산1동 행정복지센터에서 구일역 광명방면 출입구 및 환승시설 설치 관련 간담회를 열고, 주민 의견을 듣고 향후 추진 방향을 논의했다.

이날 간담회에는 박광희 광명시 안전건설교통국장 등 시 관계자를 비롯해 광명시장애인연합회장, 경기장애인부모연대 광명시지부장, 한국교통장애인협회 광명시지회장 등 시민단체장들과 구일역 인근 광명시 주민들 20여 명이 참석해 필요성에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 진행했다.

현재 광명방면에서 구일역 플랫폼까지 약 500미터의 도보 이동이 요구되는 상황에서, 이번 광명방면 출입구 및 환승시설 설치로 그 거리가 100여 미터로 대폭 단축될 예정이다.
