20일 박승원 광명시장을 비롯해 안양천이 지나는 안양, 군포, 의왕시 단체장과 전문가 등이 참석해 설계안을 검토했다.

 

안양천 지방정원 조성사업은 의왕에서 발원해 군포, 안양, 광명을 거쳐 한강으로 흐르는 안양천을 소통과 쉼, 문화와 자연이 공존하는 지방정원으로 조성하는 사업이다. 지방정원 조성 후 국가정원 등록까지 추진한다.

 

이날 설계안에 담긴 청사진은 ‘시민 정원’이었다. 4개 지자체는 행정구역의 경계를 넘어 안양천을 ‘시민 정원’으로 조성하기 위해 협력을 다지는 비전 선포식을 가졌다.

광명 구간에 들어서는 패밀리정원, 테라피정원, 참여정원을 비롯해 안양 구간은 교감정원, 향기정원, 물의정원, 군포 구간은 마실정원, 의왕 구간은 바람정원을 주제로 시민 중심의 정원이 조성된다.

 

광명 구간의 패밀리정원은 사성교부터 철산교까지 구간에 커뮤니티가든, 찬빛 브라이트가든, 플레이가든 등으로 구성된다.
