[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시가 오는 8월 30일부터 9월 2일까지 4일간 시화호 거북섬 일대에서 열리는 ‘제17회 전국해양스포츠제전’을 앞두고 지난 19일 시청 글로벌센터에서 추진위원회를 개최했다.

전국해양스포츠제전을 성공적으로 개최하기 위해 마련된 추진위원회에서는 공동 추진위원장인 임병택 시흥시장과 정원동 시흥시체육회장을 중심으로 강왈수 대한요트협회 전무이사 등 위원 20명이 위촉됐다.

추진위원회는 해양스포츠제전에 참여하는 한국해양소년단연맹, 대한체육회 가맹 경기단체 등 5개 경기단체 임원과 교통ㆍ안전ㆍ숙박ㆍ홍보 등의 지원 업무를 맡은 지역 관계기관ㆍ단체 등 관계자들로 구성된 4개 반으로 지원 업무를 분담해 제전 준비를 체계적으로 추진한다.
