[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시가 지역 관광 활성화와 해설사의 전문성 강화를 위해 진행된 ‘화성시 문화관광해설사 역량강화 교육’을 성공적으로 마쳤다.

이번 교육은 2025년 3월 17일부터 3월 19일까지 3일간 화성시 문화관광해설사 34명을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 해설 기법 향상, 지역 역사 및 문화유산 이해 등 실무 역량을 높이는 다양한 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

특히, 이번 교육은 국내 관광선진지인 경주와 포항을 방문하여 현지 문화관광해설을 직접 청취하고 우수 사례를 벤치마킹하는데 중점을 뒀다.

참가자들은 경주와 포항의 대표 관광지에서 현지 해설사들의 생생한 해설을 들으며 실무에 적용할 수 있는 다양한 기법을 익히는 기회를 가졌다.

참가자들은 이번 교육을 통해 지역의 역사와 문화를 보다 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 자신감을 얻었으며, 선진 해설 기법을 접하며 향후 해설 활동에 큰 도움이 될 것이라고 평가했다.

박주덕 관광진흥과장은 “문화관광해설사는 지역 관광의 얼굴로서 중요한 얼굴을 하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 교육과정을 통해 관광객들에게 더욱 수준 높은 해설 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
