[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성특례시가 지난 17일 ‘화성시 노인보건센터 혁신과 발전 방안’을 논의하기 위한 심포지엄을 개최했다. 

이번 행사에는 노인 보건·복지 전문가 및 관련 기관 담당자 등 약 50명이 참석했으며, 전문가와 실무자 간 심도 있는 토론을 통해 노인보건센터 기능 활성화 및 발전 방안을 모색했다.

화성시 노인보건센터는 2006년 개소한 이후 현재까지 6개 센터를 운영하며, 노인의 건강한 생활을 지원하고 가족의 부양 부담을 덜어주는 역할을 하고 있다.

심포지엄은 한림대학교 의과대학 윤종률 명예교수의 기조강연으로 시작됐다. 윤 교수는 ‘지역사회와 함께하는 건강 노화’를 주제로 발표했으며, 이어 화성시연구원의 권오균 연구위원이 화성특례시 노인보건센터의 기능 및 역할 재정립 방안에 대한 연구 결과를 발표했다.

또한 패널 토의에서는 윤종률 명예교수가 좌장을 맡고, ▲화성특례시의회 김종복 문화복지위원장 ▲화성시 노인보건센터 박상훈 센터장▲백석대학교 서동민 교수▲수원대학교 이경희 교수▲경기도광역치매센터 박정아 팀장 등이 참여해 열띤 논의를 펼쳤다.
