시는 지난 7일 열린 공공갈등조정협의회에서 갈등전문가 및 이해당사자 등이 참석한 가운데, A급 갈등 사안이었던 ‘(가칭)화성시근대음악전시관 건립’과 관련한 합의를 이끌어냈다고 13일 밝혔다.

이날 협의회에는 갈등전문가인 단국대학교 분쟁해결센터 김학린, 김강민 교수를 비롯해, 이해관계자 대표인 방학진 민족문제연구소 기획실장, 이호헌 광복회 경기도지부 화성시지회 운영실장, 이영구 (가칭)근대음악전시관 사업추진위원회 사무국장, 이번영 (전)남양읍 주민자치회장 및 화성시 관계자 등 총 10명이 참석했다.

이날 참석자들은 (가칭)화성시근대음악전시관을 문화예술공간으로 조성하고, 전시 공간에 예술가들의 공적과 과오를 객관적으로 표기해 후손들을 교육할 수 있는 공간으로 활용하기로 합의했다.
