[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 오경희기자] 광주시가 10일 시청 순암홀에서 ‘2025년 재난대응 단체 결의대회’를 개최했다.

재난대응 단체의 활동을 활성화하고 자발적인 재난 봉사활동 참여를 독려하기 위해 마련된 이날 행사는 방세환 시장을 비롯한 자율방재단(35명), 의용소방대(35명), 자율방범대(30명) 등 총 100여 명의 재난안전 활동단체 관계자가 참석해 재난 예방 및 대응의 중요성을 함께 되새기고 다짐하는 시간을 가졌다.

결의대회는 전문교육을 통해 재난 예방 및 대응에 대한 지식을 공유하는 시간을 가진 후 제설장비(송풍기) 36대를 각 단체에 전달했으며 제설장비는 자율방재단에 16대, 의용소방대 9대, 자율방범대 11대의 제설 장비를 배분했다.

방세환 시장은 “재난 대응의 핵심은 사전 예방과 신속한 대응”이라며 “이번 결의대회를 통해 재난대응 단체의 역할이 더욱 강화되고 시민 안전을 위한 협력이 확대되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
