지난 2월 5일(수), 여주시농업기술센터에서 열린 이번 총회에는 배 연구회원 21명이 참석했으며, 2025년 연구회 활동계획 및 발전 방안 논의와 함께 기술교육이 진행됐다.

기술교육은 엠원예기술연구소 문병우 소장이 강사로 나서 최근 기후변화에 따른 배 재배 환경 변화와 재배 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 생리장해 예방 기술을 중점적으로 다뤘다. 문병우 소장은 배나무 생육 단계별 관리 방법과 생리장해에 대해 농가들이 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 실용적인 해결책을 제시했다.

교육에 참석한 한 농가는 “배나무 생리장해에 대해 깊이 있게 설명을 들을 수 있어 매우 유익한 시간이었고, 이번 교육에서 배운 내용을 활용해 고품질 배 생산에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 전창현 기술보급과장은 “여주시 배 농가의 기술력 향상과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 다양한 교육과 지원을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
