가맹점 신청 대상은 연매출 12억 원 이하 관내 사업자등록을 한 소상공인이며, 전통시장법에 따른 전통시장, 상점가, 골목형 상점가는 연매출 기준 적용에서 제외된다. 단, 준․대규모점포, 유흥업소, 사행성 오락업 등 일부 업종은 신청할 수 없다.

광명사랑화폐 가맹점으로 등록하면 일반 신용카드 대비 카드 수수료율이 0.25%p 절감되고, 연매출 5억 원 이하 가맹점일 경우 반기별로 광명사랑화폐 카드 수수료를 지원받을 수 있다.

가맹점 등록은 경기지역화폐 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 신청하거나 광명시청 기업지원과를 방문해 신청할 수 있다.

온라인 신청 시 대표자 본인 명의의 휴대전화로 본인 인증이 필요하며, 방문 신청하는 경우 사업자등록증, 대표자 신분증을 지참해야 한다.
