시는 이번 사업에 총 105억 원의 예산을 투입해 안정적이고 만족도 높은 근로환경을 조성할 계획이다.

상반기 공공일자리 사업은 총 532명을 선발해 중장년층과 청년층으로 나누어 운영한다.

중장년층 일자리는 ▲공공시설 실내·외 청소를 담당하는 광명행복 일자리 160명 ▲50세 이상 65세 미만을 대상으로 한 신중년 일자리 154명 ▲대형공사현장 안전보안관과 광명희망띵동사업단 등 다양한 분야에서 활동하는 함께 일자리 102명 ▲결혼이민자 지원사업과 우산수리센터 사업을 포함한 지역공동체 일자리 등 15명이다.

청년층은 ▲실무 경험과 역량 강화를 지원하는 새내기청년 51명 ▲문화예술과 행정서비스 등 다양한 분야에서 활동하는 광명청년인턴 뉴스타트 50명으로 구성된다.
