여주시 조정아 부시장, 김성중 경기도 부지사와 여주천사의집 방문

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 오경희기자] 여주시 조정아 부시장이 설 명절을 맞아 김성중 경기도 행정1부지사와 함께 지난 24일 장애인거주시설 여주천사들의집을 방문했다.

이번 설을 맞아 김성중 행정1부지사와 다시 아이들을 찾은 조정아 부시장은 못 본 사이 부쩍 큰 아동과 상태가 호전 된 아동들을 보고 기뻐하면서 “우리들의 더 많은 관심과 사랑이 필요하다.”며 이웃에 대한 사랑을 강조함과 동시에 설 명절에도 쉴 틈 없이 근무하는종사자 및 시설 관계자들의 노고를 치하했다.

조정아 부시장은 평소에도 여주천사들의집에 방문하여 장애 영유아들을 안아주며격려하는 등 거주시설 장애인들에 대해 관심을 갖고 있었다.

여주천사들의집 원장 박힘찬 신부는 김성중 행정1부지사와 조정아 부시장의 방문에감사를 표하며 “앞으로도 장애영유아 거주인들의 맞춤형 서비스 지원과 좀 더 면밀한프로그램 및 서비스 제공을 위해 힘쓰겠다.”고 감사의 말씀을 전했다.
