[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 오경희기자] 경기도가 오는 2월 18일까지 2025년 ‘경기도 평생배움대학GCC(Great Gyeonggi Citizen College)’ 운영기관 11곳을 공개 모집한다.

2022년 시작된 ‘경기도 평생배움대학 GCC’는 경기도 대표 평생교육 플랫폼 사업으로, 전 도민 대상 생애주기별 맞춤형 교육을 통해 변화하는 사회에 필요한 역량 개발을 지원하는 것이다.

도는 올해 사업비 총 10억 원을 편성해 ▲2040 청년 대상 ‘빛나G 캠퍼스’ 4개 ▲5060 중장년 대상 ‘새롭G 캠퍼스’ 4개 ▲65세 이상 노년 대상 ‘자유롭G 캠퍼스’ 3개 총 11개 운영기관을 모집한다.

지원 대상은 도내 고등교육법에 따른 일반대학, 전문대학, 대학 부속기관, 평생교육 관련 법인 등이다.

지원기관은 대학의 우수한 자원을 활용해 지역사회와 연계한 교육과정을 제안할 수 있다. 교육 프로그램은 교육 대상별 맞춤형 역량 강화 프로그램, 특성화 교육 등 연간 80시간 이상을 자율적으로 구성할 수 있으나, 경기학, 재무설계 교육, 마음 전환 교육 과정 15시간을 필수적으로 구성해야 한다.

참여를 희망하는 기관은 2월 18일 오후 6시까지 사업 신청서와 관련 서류를 지참해 경기도 평생교육과(수원시 도청로 30, 경기도청 12층)로 방문 접수하면 된다. 

홍성덕 경기도 평생교육과장은 “경기도 평생배움대학은 대학의 평생교육 역할을 확대해 도민에게 수준 높은 교육 기회를 제공하는 사업”이라면서 “도민의 배움 욕구를 충족하고 질 높은 교육과정을 운영할 관련 기관의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
