용인특례시, 2024 숫자로 보는 인구변화 보고서 발간

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 시민이 체감하는 정책을 수립하는 데 기초자료로 활용하기 위해 발간한 ‘2024 숫자로 보는 인구변화 보고서’를 발간했다.

지난 2023년 말 기준 용인특례시로 성남시(9821명), 수원시(8734명)를 비롯한 전국 지방자치단체에서 전입온 시민은 12만 5801명이고, 용인에서 수원시(1만 217명), 성남시(7904명) 등 다른 지자체로 빠진 시민은 12만 4807명이었다. 용인의 순유입 인구 994명이 늘어난 셈이다.

시는 2023년 말 기준 행정안전부의 주민등록인구현황과 통계청의 인구주택총조사, 용인시 사회조사(2024) 등 각 분야별 통계자료를 시의 실정에 맞게 분석, 인구변화 추이나 생애주기별 사회 통계 등을 담아 이번 보고서를 펴냈다.
