김포시, 광역버스 6701번 신설노선 운행

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이귀선기자] 김포시가 구도심에서 상암DMC까지 오가는 광역버스 6701번 신설노선을 오는 9월 1일(일)부터 운행을 시작한다고 전했다.

이번 노선은 김포 감정동에서 킨텍스역(GTX-A 개통예정)을 거쳐 상암DMC까지 오가는 최초의 노선으로, 광역철도 뿐 아니라 버스 노선까지 김포시민의 서울생활권 진입이 점점 일치되어가고 있다는 점에서 큰 의의를 갖는다.

이번 노선 신설은 하반기 개통 예정인 GTX-A 킨텍스역 연결로 골드라인 혼잡률 완화 기대 효과와 감정·북변·걸포 지역 주민들의 출퇴근 편의가 크게 증진을 가져올 것으로 기대된다.
