여주시 노인일자리사업 성과평가회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이귀선기자] 여주시(시장:이충우)는 2023년도 노인일자리사업 성과평가회를 가졌다고 15일 밝혔다.

노인일자리사업은 여주시 어르신친화도시 5대영역 9대목표 중 사회참여의 일환으로 참여자의 지속적인 증가를 통해 어르신들의 노후생활에 중요한 참여의 도구로 활용 중이다. 또한 다양한 일자리·사회활동을 지원하여 일하기 희망하는 어르신께 맞춤형 일자리를 제공하여 소득창출 및 사회참여를 지원하는 사업이다.

이 날 행사는 200여명의 어르신 및 주요내빈이 참석한 가운데 2023년도 여주시 노인일자리사업 성과보고와 한해 동안의 활동 영상시청 그리고 성공적인 사업에 기여한 참여어르신과 종사자들의 시상식으로 진행되었다.

여주시 노인일자리사업은 해를 거듭할수록 지속적으로 성장하고 있으며 2020년부터 2023년까지 참여어르신이 2,300명에서 38%가 증가한 3,200명이 참여하였으며 사업비 또한 75억에서 61%가 증가한 121억을 편성하였다. 이는 어르신들의 활동적 노년기를 지원하며 건강한 노후생활 및 지역경제 활성화에도 기여하며 이를 기반으로 2024년에는 143억을 편성하여 3,670명 참여목표로 추진 중이다.
