여주시 23년 주거취약계층 주거상향 지원사업 적극 추진

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이귀선기자] 여주시 주거취약계층에 대한 지원에 나선다.

이번 사업은  국토교통부가 주관하는  ‘23년 주거취약계층 주거상향 지원사업’ 공모사업에 선정됨에 따라 쪽방, 고시원, 여관, 여인숙, 비닐하우스, 컨테이너 등 비주택에 거주하는 시민을 공공임대주택으로 이주하도록 통합 지원하고, 자립과 정착을 돕는 것이다.

대상자는 3개월 이상 비주택에 거주한 무주택 주거취약계층으로 전년도 도시근로자 월평균 소득 50% 이하, 총자산 2억 4,200만원 이하, 차량가격 3,557만원 이하 등이면 지원받을 수 있다.

시는 올해 비주택 거주자 19가구를 발굴하여 13가구 주거상향을 완료하였으며 생필품, 의약품, 주택 개·보수 등을 통해 자립과 정착을 지원할 예정이다. 해당 사업은 여주시 공공 주거복지센터에서 추진하고 있다.

이충우 여주시장은 “주거복지 사각지대에 놓인 비주택 거주 가구를 촘촘히 살펴보고, 이들의 주거상향 이주를 적극적으로 지원하는 등 주거취약계층의 주거권 보장과 주거수준 향상을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다” 고 전했다.
