여주시립도서관 홈페이지 새 단장...이용자 편의성 높여

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=여주 이귀선기자] 여주시 평생교육과 시립도서관은 이용자 중심의 도서관 서비스 향상을 위해 시립도서관 홈페이지를 새 단장 운영한다고 17일 밝혔다.

이번 개편한 홈페이지는 PC, 태블릿, 스마트폰 등 본인이 소유한 다양한 기기에서 손쉽게 접속할 수 있도록 세련된 반응형 웹을 구축해 이용 편의를 높였다.

특히, 온라인으로 거주지를 확인하는 ‘비대면 자격확인 서비스’를 도입하여 도서관 회원가입이 온라인으로도 가능해져 회원증 발급을 위해 도서관에 직접 방문해야하는 이용자의 번거로움을 해소할 수 있게 됐다.

또한, 도서 전문 검색엔진을 탑재하여 빅데이터를 활용한 도서 검색 기능을 강화하였고, 이용자 중심의 다양한 북큐레이션 기능 제공과 더불어 문화프로그램 및 시설 예약 편의 기능을 강화했다.

여주시 평생교육과 장지순 과장은 “시민들이 온라인 환경에서도 도서관 이용을 쉽고 편하게 접근할 수 있도록 편의성을 높이는데 주력했다”며 “앞으로도 최신 IT기술을 접목한 다양한 도서관 서비스를 제공하겠다.”고 말했다.
